On May 12, 2022, representatives of Igor Sikorsky KPI took part in a project planning meeting on “Development of economic indicators for universities as part of the regional ecosystems” together with partners from the Guangzhou International Sister-City Universities Alliance.
The proposed joint research program provides consideration of the impact of universities and higher education on the economy of the regions and the formation of joint recommendations for cooperation between the free economic zones of different countries.
A research project on this topic was launched in 2022 by the Durban University of Technology in South Africa. Among the project participants there are representatives of universities which are members of the GISU Alliance.
